More About Jack...
- Before starting archery, Jack began as a competitive fencer in 4th grade, and during his final year in the Y12 division, he was ranked #17 in the Western Region.
- Jack got his start in archery when the fencing studio he trained at started offering beginning archery lessons.
- In his freshman year of high school, Jack was First Chair of his schools Concert Orchestra, and that year his school was awarded a Grammy as Top Music Program in the US.
- Jack graduated early from High School in the spring of 11th grade, so he could focus on Olympic Archery.
- During Jack’s first year competing in Archery’s Senior Division, he finished 4th in the US, putting him on the US World Cup team at the age of 17.
- Jack finished 2020 ranked #1 in the US, the only archer besides Brady Ellison to be ranked #1 in the past 15 years.
- Jack has been ranked #2 in the US 2019, 2021 and each year after.
- Jack made a television appearance on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s show, Stone Cold Takes on America, where he shot a ping pong ball floating in the air in an episode called Raging Bullseye on A&E network.
- Jack’s favorite charity who he works with is Break the Barriers, based in Fresno, CA.
